Updated: November 10, 2006
Ronnie Brewer was clutch down the stretch and Arkanas came back from an 18-point second-half deficit and beat Alabama 65-63 for their second straight quality win. The win gives Arkansas it`s most conference wins in since 2001. The Hogs are now 7-6 in the SEC. The comeback spoiled a career 29-point night by Ronald Steele, who until the final minute seemed to score when the Crimson Tide needed it most. He was 7 of 8 on three pointers. Darian Townes had led Arkansas with 15 points, Brewer had 12 and Jonathon Modica finished with 11. Sean McCurdy had 5 assist in 12 minutes of action. Eric Ferguson and Charles Thomas added 10 point appiece. Arkansas now travels to Tennessee on Saturday and The Razorback Nation will be there to cover the 12pm central tip off.
