Damian Williams: Statement Released Thursday August 4, 2005
After much consideration, my parents and I have decided that I will continue my education at the University of Florida at Gainesville.
I am very blessed to have received offers from some of the top universities in the country. Due to the caliber of these great schools, my decision was very difficult. the recruiting process has allowed me to meet some of the greatest coaches and athletes in college football. For this, I will always be grateful.
I extend a special thanks to Coach Nutt and the Razorback coaching staff for the time and interest that has been devoted to me. I wish you the best in the upcoming season.
However, the time has come that Coach Malzahn and the Springdale Bulldogs deserve my full attention. I owe it to my teammates to help contribute to our motto, "One Year One Team One Goal". Go Red Dogs!
