Hogs Beat Texas, Make Regional Championshp Game

(Austin, TX) - Nick Schmidt tossed a complete game and Arkansas defeated Texas 9-2 at the NCAA Regional on Saturday. The win puts the Razorbacks in the championship game. Texas will play Miami University at noon on Sunday. The winner of that game plays Arkansas for the championship at 6:00 p.m. If Razorbacks win that game they win the Austin Regional. If they lose, they`ll play a second game Monday at 1:00 p.m. and the winner of that game will be the Austin Regional Champion.
The winner of the Austin Regional plays the winner of the Oxford Regional in the Super Regional. Ole Miss defeated Oklahoma 7-3 Saturday night putting them in the same position the Hogs are in. If Ole Miss wins their Regional, they will host the Super Regional.
