In November 2011, Tania took on an additional role as KARK's Faith Matters reporter, covering topics related to Arkansas' religious diversity. Being a woman of faith herself, Tania enjoys learning and exploring other peoples faiths and being able to share it with Arkansans. She says it's encouraging to be able to tell stories where people rely on a higher power to get through life and it's obstacles.
Tania came to KARK from KSLA in Shreveport, Louisiana, where she worked as a general assignment reporter covering the crime beat.
Tania also has experience as a reporter with WOAY in Beckley/Oak Hill, West Virginia, and as an assignment editor with WPLG in Miami, Florida.
Tania's parents are both natives of Haiti. Her father still lives there and survived the 2010 earthquake that devastated the island.
Thanks to her Haitian roots, Tania speaks fluent French Creole.
