When "Chuck" debuted five seasons ago, star Zack Levi just wanted a chance.

The adventures of a computer nerd turned super spy missed out on big rating but it did find a fiercely devoted following. That core of support, and the encouragement of TV critics, helped "Chuck" elude cancellation several times.

But eventually, all TV series end and for "Chuck," that end comes Friday.

The family that developed in front of the camera, developed behind it as well. The actors, just like the fans, are sad to say goodbye.
