New nutrition standards for school lunches will be announced later this morning.

These will be the first major changes to school lunches in 15 years.

The standards would increase access to fresh fruits and vegetables, whole grains, and limit calories based on the age of children. Schools would also only offer fat-free or low-fat milk.

First Lady Michelle Obama and Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack are scheduled to unveil the new standards at an elementary school later today.
