Cat Killing in Pope County Linked to Political Campaign

By: KNWA-TV, Fayetteville
Updated: January 23, 2012
Russellville Police are looking into the killing of a family's cat that included a cryptic political message.

Jacob Burris is the campaign manager for Democratic 3rd District congressional candidate Ken Aden.

The Burris family arrived home Sunday and found their cat on the front doorstep dead, with the word "liberal" written across it's body.

Aden released the following statement about the incident, saying:
"It is one thing to engage in civil political discourse, and for Republicans and Democrats to disagree with each other, which is an expected part of the political process. Taking it to this level is beyond unacceptable."

The scum that did this should be shot dead and their parents sent a bill for the ammunition.
