Arkansas Heart Hospital and Saline Memorial Hospital Announce Affiliation

Arkansas Heart Hospital and Saline Memorial Hospital will be teaming up to bring improved cardiac care to the residents of Saline County. This new partnership, announced today, will allow cardiologists from Arkansas Heart Hospital to see patients in Benton five days a week for diagnostic, non-invasive testing, and invasive services, as well as provide 24/7 support to the Saline Memorial Hospital Emergency Department for acute cardiac needs.
Dr. Bruce Murphy, President and CEO of Arkansas Heart Hospital, described this new alliance as a, "Coming home to Saline County." As the former Director of Coronary Care for Saline Memorial Hospital, Dr. Murphy, "Grew up as cardiologist here." The goal of this union, "Is to provide the community high quality cardiac care. There is a long rich history of several decades of physicians from both hospitals collaborating in patient care. The opportunity to rekindle this relationship is exciting and one that both partners are looking forward to."
Arkansas Heart Hospital, under the leadership of Dr. Murphy, currently provides cardiac healthcare to over 30 communities throughout the state.
Saline Memorial's CEO interim, Carla Robertson said, "This is a promising new chapter for Saline Memorial Hospital and for patients. This new partnership with Arkansas Heart Hospital, along with the existing services provided by Saline Health Group, will enhance cardiovascular care for our community."
