2012 Arkansas State Fair Opening Day Schedule

It's day one of the 2012 Arkansas State Fair.
The gates open at 11AM for the fair's 10-day run through Sunday, October 21.
Along the midway you'll find all sorts of food and fun from rides to musical entertainment and wild animal attractions.
For the first time in 10 years, there will be a roller coaster to ride. It stands 60-feet high and took 300 man hours to complete. Click here for the complete list of rides.
Speaking of rides, the first and last day of the fair are KARK Ride-o-Rama days. That means you can buy an armband for 23-dollars and ride all the rides you want all day long.

If you want to go to the fair, just for the food, you can checkout "Lunch at the Fair." For the third straight year, Arkansans can enjoy "Lunch at the Fair," from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. weekdays. There's no charge to get in the gate and parking is also free.

It will be interesting to hear the bear trainers tell about the specie's natural behaviors while forcing them to ride skateboards.
