Many customers say they'll be letting banks know their distaste if they're charged fees for using bank cards.

One-in-three people told Research Intelligence Group pollsters they would leave their banks if there's a fee for using the cards.

More than four-in-ten say they will use cash or credit cards in response to the debit card fees.

Slightly more than one in ten agreed they would pay a "reasonable" fee.

Bank of America has recently announced plans to charge as much as five-dollars a month to some customers who use debit cards.
