Boo at the Zoo in Little Rock Begins October 20

The Little Rock Zoo and Verizon announced today that BOO AT THE ZOO will celebrate its 20th anniversary October 20 - 23 and 27 - 31 with a new and improved train ride and an all-inclusive admission ticket offered for the first time this year.

The ticket includes general admission, trick-or-treating, and access to all carnival rides, attractions, and bounce houses (excludes photo station) for $15 at the gate and $14 in advance at the Little Rock Zoo or online at LittleRockZoo.com (click here).

BOO AT THE ZOO will also feature live music performances from area bands every Friday and Saturday night at the elephant stage.  The live music play list includes:
  • Shannon Boshears Band:   Friday, Oct. 21
  • Velvet Kente:  Saturday, Oct. 22
  • Rodney Block and the Real Music Lovers:  Friday, Oct. 28
  • Donna Massey and Blue-Eyed Soul:  Saturday, Oct. 29
BOO is also bringing back the magic of Ring 29 of the International Brotherhood of Magicians who will perform free magic shows every night of BOO at the Civitan Amphitheater Stage at 6:30 p.m.  

NEW! Creatures of the Night Station
Have you ever wanted to learn about all the creepy crawly things that go "bump" in the night?  Learn about these creatures of the night and more at the Creatures of the Night station hosted by the Little Rock Zoo docent volunteers!  Docents will have live animals and biofacts at a booth located at BOO where families can learn more about the animals.

Tickets may be purchased in advance at LittleRockZoo.com (click here) or at the Little Rock Zoo admission gate. Tickets are $7 at the gate for general admission and $6 in advance and $15 at the gate for all-inclusive admission and $14 in advance. 

BOO AT THE ZOO is Arkansas' largest Halloween festival featuring trick-or-treating in a safe, family fun environment, along with other Halloween attractions like a haunted house, Frankenstein's Dance Party, Ghost Roast S'mores Station, carousel rides, costume contest, magic shows, story time, bounce houses, carnival rides and other fun activities and attractions.  This year, BOO will feature a new and improved haunted train ride.  The haunted train is one of the most popular attractions at BOO and the new and improved train ride will feature updated decorations and other "spooktacular" special effects. 

Members Night
Members Night for BOO is back!  Members only night is set for Thursday, Oct. 20, at the Zoo.
