Help Wanted: Trained Workers Needed At Pine Bluff Arsenal

By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
After a slow start, the pace of incineration is picking up at the Pine Bluff Arsenal. That`s a good thing, too: the Arsenal has til 2012 to destroy almost four thousand tons of chemical weapons. To get the job done on time, project managers say they`ll need to be processing chemical weapons 24 hours a day. In order to add more shifts, though, more workers are needed. Project managers admit recruiting isn`t always easy. People need to be willing to work with or near chemical weapons. They need to be qualified to do so. They also must be willing to subject themselves to extensive screening.
