American Auto Makers Face Tough Times

As gas prices leave many drivers looking at other options, American car manufacturers are feeling the pain at the pump. First quarter reports show GM lost $1.1 billion and Ford was down 37%. At the same time, sales of hybrid vehicles are rising fast, up more than 80% from a year ago.
