Governor Mike Huckabee says he wants to convert to a Covenant Marriage as an example to others. Monday night at Alltel Arena, Governor and Mrs. Huckabee entered the Covenant Marriage after a number of speakers took the stage to talk about how to make marriages stronger. The thousands of people who attended the event say they`re happy to follow the Governor`s example. "Instead of just going and getting a 30 day divorce, this will give us time to think about it." (Gov. Huckabee) "We are a better and more stable culture when marriages are strong." A group of protesters held up a banner that made reference against a new constitutional amendment proclaiming that marriage in Arkansas can only be between a man and a woman.
