A Sherwood dentist continues to make progress four months after he was diagnosed with the West Nile Virus. Milton Harbuck, DDS spent a week in the hospital back in September after suffering memory loss and a high fever. Doctors discovered he contracted west nile viral encephalitis a week later. "I don`t remember any of that and it`s probably a good thing," he said. Harbuck was released from the hospital on January 7, four months to the day he was admitted and one day before his 76th birthday. He still has physical therapy three times a week and has regained some feeling in his right hand and most of his memory. "I can think, clearly. I can recall what happened in the distant past as well as the recent past," he said. "That`s the kind of life I really desire."
