Someone Stole Thousands Of ASU Newspapers

By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
Someone badly wanted to find out what`s happening on the campus of Arkansas State University in Jonesboro. Police are trying to find someone who swiped about 3,000 copies of the campus newspaper. "The Herald" included a story about under-age drinking at the Sigma Chi fraternity house at ASU. Officials believe that story might have prompted the newspapers to be stolen. If the thief hoped to cover up the story by stealing the newspapers, the plan backfired. More papers were printed--and now the story has spread beyond the campus with the report of the thefts.
