Mayor Injured In Car Chase

A southeast Arkansas mayor has been injured by a suspect`s car during a chase. Grady Mayor Bobby O`Bryant was assisting police officers in placing spike strips on a road Monday evening when the suspect being chased by police hit the mayor, who was taken to a hospital intensive care unit. Sixty-five-year-old Floyd Edwards of Grady was arrested and charged with first-degree battery and fleeing the scene, a felony.
