Legisltors Reminded of State Poverty

Chartible organizations recently gave state legislators a break down of the poverty levels in their district. While there is no specific legislation designed to curb the problem, help organizations say everything from education to taxes can impact the lives of low income families. Arkansas is only 2nd to Mississippi for poverty levels in the United States. 20 percent of children in Pulaski county are living in poverty.
