Arkansas Snowfall Totals

The National Weather Service says snowfall totals in Wednesday`s storm varied widely across Arkansas. Here are some of the snowfall depths reported by the weather service Wednesday night: --Mount Ida, 7 inches. --Newport, 5 inches. --4 inches at Deer, in Newton County; at Melbourne, in Izard County; at Yellville, in Marion County; at Augusta in Woodruff County; and at Mountain Home, Conway, Morrilton, Russellville and Hot Springs. --3.5 inches at Mammoth Spring in Fulton County. --3 inches at Mena in Polk County in west Arkansas and at Danville, Clinton, Heber Springs, Searcy, Mountain View and Batesville. At the Little Rock Airport, 2.7 inches was recorded, while the official weather service station in North Little Rock recorded 2.5 inches. Jasper and Arkadelphia got 2 inches, and Harrison got a half-inch.
