A domestic dispute in Searcy County led a man to shoot three people and then take his own life. State police spokesman Bill Sadler says one victim died Wednesday at the scene -- 65-year-old Gordon W- Dillon. His wife, 60-year-old Karen F- Dillon, was wounded and is being treated at a Little Rock hospital Thursday. Also shot was 59-year-old Sue Watts of Parrin, Texas, who is being treated at a Springfield, Missouri, hospital. Sadler said would not release the identity of the shooter. Searcy County Sheriff Jerry Loggins said Wednesday before any identities were released that the shooting involved two married couples. ------ Sadler said the Dillons were inside their home and heard shots outside. Gordon Dillon went to the door and was shot, Sadler said. His wife went to his aid and also was shot, he said. He aid Sue Watts had already been shot by the time Gordon Dillon was wounded. The shooting was at a residence about 12 miles north of Marshall near Harriet. Sadler attributed the shootings to a domestic dispute but would not go into detail.
