A former funeral director for Shackelford Funeral Home in Prescott has been sentenced to two years in federal prison for embezzling about $400,000. Burke was also ordered to pay restitution. Burke had pleaded guilty to mail fraud and bank fraud charges. Prosecutors say Burke admitted that the embezzlement began in 1998 and continued until January 2003. Burke told officials he would divert customer payments for burials and other funeral services to a personal account at the Bank of Delight.
