Hot Springs Man Cashes $40,000 Lottery Ticket

A Hot Springs man has 40-thousand reasons to smile.

Jeff Sorrells, today claimed a $40,000 Mega Millions prize at the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery Little Rock Claim Center. 

He bought his ticket at Shell Central, 3636 Central Avenue, in Hot Springs. 

His original prize amount was $10,000 but because he bought the $1 Megaplier with his ticket, the prize was multiplied four times.
