Runoff Voting Underway

Voting is under way in Jonesboro and Pine Bluff
in mayoral runoff elections.
Polling places opened at Seven-30 this morning and will stay
open until seven-thirty tonight.
Jonesboro Mayor Hubert Brodell didn`t seek re-election, after 18
years in office. Voters in the city will choose between business
manager Dan Pierce and police Seargent Doug Formon. The men emerged
as the top two finishers in a seven-candidate field from the
November Second general election.
In Pine Bluff, Carl Redus and state Senator Brenda Gullett are
on the ballot.
