Smokers among students and faculty at the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith may want to give more thought to quitting the habit. Use of tobacco products will be banned at the campus, starting January first. Chancellor Joel Stubblefield says the new policy is in line with the Healthy Arkansas initiative ordered by Governor Huckabee. Stubblefield announced the policy in the foyer of the new Health Sciences Center on campus yesterday. He says he hopes the ban will help people throughout the community quit tobacco.
