30 Soldiers Prepare For Iraq War Duties

Thirty Army Reserve soldiers of the 392nd Chemical Company have been mobilized for duties in the Iraq war. The unit ordered activated today includes soldiers from Little Rock, Russellville and Jonesboro. They will spend three days reviewing their records and going over basic skills, according to an Army news release. On Friday, the unit will transfer to Fort Polk, Louisiana, where its members will undergo additional training before leaving for Iraq. Their departure date for Iraq wasn`t known. The unit will provide nuclear, biological and chemical support and help identify chemical contamination.
