State Revenue Was Above Forecast For October

New numbers show that state revenue for October came in above forecast, sustaining a trend of more tax money coming into state coffers than fiscal officers had predicted. Gross revenues for the month were $345.4 million. That`s up ten point seven percent from October a year ago. The sum is seven point five percent above forecast for the month. The figures were released today by the state Department of Finance and Administration. For the fiscal year, the state has gross collections of one point four billion dollars, up 8.1% from the same point last year.
