Police looking for parolee

Pine Bluff police are searching for a paroled murderer who is accused of beating his wife and son with a car jack and his step-daughter with a lamp. 40 year old Melvin Jefferson had served 16 years of a 40 year sentence for murder until he was freed on parole four months ago. The reported attack happened Tuesday. Police say they believe Jefferson has fled to the Little Rock area.
