Storms injure ten in Sardis

The fire chief in Sardis says ten residents were injured in Monday morning`s storms, and two people were critically hurt. Fire Chief Rick Morris says 45 structures were damaged south and east of Sardis. He said 20 to 25 of those were demolished or have major damage. Morris says the damage was caused by a tornado, though the National Weather Service say it will send damage survey teams to affected areas Tuesday.
