Trout fishing: on fire STILL.
Little Red River isn't generating very well for rainbows, so fly fisherman, you're gonna have a good time on a zebra midge.
The hybrids are running at Lake Greeson and Greers Ferry. If you're at Greers Ferry, go right outside Cove Creek probably between 7:00 and 11:00 you're gonna catch some GOOOOD three- to four-pound hybrids. Lake Greeson, they're running there just about all day. Also, the crappie are on fire at Lake Greeson.
Okay anglers, the lure of the week right now's the chug bug. I love using this before or after it rains or a storm like it's been doing. Poppers and buzz baits work well, too, but I prefer a chug bug.
Be sure to watch the video attached to this story to see Big Sarge demonstrate how to use the chug bug.
