A man from upstate New York who was preparing to work at the Arkansas State Fair was shot to death Thursday. Jeffrey Schulz of Watertown, New York, was staying at the Days Inn near Little Rock National Airport when he was approached by two men, got in a struggle and was shot in the chest. Schulz was preparing to work at the state fair and staying at the hotel with Mike Miller, a friend from Waynesburg, Ohio. Miller told police that he was alone in the hotel room for about ten minutes when Schulz returned with the two unknown men. Miller said they started fighting and shot him once in the chest with a silver handgun, then robbed Miller and ran off.
