Little Rock police say two elderly sisters found dead in their home suffered blows to the back of their heads. 86 year old Evelyn Howland and 90 year old Francis Hemby were found dead Sunday when one of their sons went to check on them at their west Little Rock home. No arrests have been made. Information from the medical examiner led police to begin the homicide investigation. Police said there was no sign of forced entry, and nothing appeared to have been stolen from the home. Neighbors said the sisters had lived together in the house, owned by Evelyn Howland, for at least 30 years.
