Pine Bluff city officials are wondering whether convicted alderman Jack Foster will attend Monday`s city council meeting. Foster was found guilty by a federal court jury of an extortion-related charge but has not resigned his position. Prosecutors say he tried to sell his vote on a proposed zoning change. Mayor Dutch King says Foster should resign for the good of the city but has not formally asked Foster to do so. Foster is also a candidate for mayor, and his name is to appear on the ballot.
