A capital-murder suspect was captured
Wednesday... a day after he broke out of a Texarkana jail. Bowie County Texas sheriff`s officials say a tip led them to 28 year old Torrence Henry at a Texarkana home. Chief Deputy James Manning says Henry was caught asleep in bed at the house and surrendered peacefully. Henry`s back in the
Bi-State Justice Center in Texarkana. Manning says an escape charge is pending. Henry is charged with capital murder in the 2003 shooting death
of Donnell Carroll. Sheriff`s officials say he and two other inmates escaped before dawn Tuesday after gouging a hole in the ceiling of a shower area that led to the electrical wiring system. From there, the inmates apparently left by a fire escape. The two other inmates were captured ten minutes later. They`ve been charged with escape.
