Former Pine Bluff Officer guilty of drug charges

Jurors in a Little Rock federal courtroom convicted a former Pine Bluff police officer on drug charges. Aaron Dancy was arrested outside a motel in 2002. Jurors convicted him of conspiracy to possess with intent to deliver marijuana, and aiding and abetting the possession of marijuana. Both crimes are punishable by up to five years in prison. He will be sentenced at a later date The jury also convicted two other men who were tried with Dancy.
