Former President Clinton is a familiar figure in the streets around his office in Harlem, and residents sent him prayers and good wishes today after he was hospitalized for heart surgery. Fred Johnson, a retiree who was passing Clinton`s office on 125th Street, said he was going to go home and get his Bible and read a passage in it for Clinton. Another resident, John Bagley, said Clinton`s a good man and he wished the former president a speedy recovery. Jacklyn Brown, who works for a welfare to work agency in Clinton`s building, said she sees Clinton often and he waves. She says she hopes he does well.
