I-40 Lane Closures Planned In North Little Rock

By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
Lane closures on Interstate 40 in North Little Rock are planned for tomorrow morning. The state Highway Department say that the westbound lanes will be closed for 15 minute intervals starting at six in the morning and for several hours after that to allow ramp improvements. The department said westbound motorists will not be able to exit at the Burns Park interchange. Instead the Burns Park area may be accessed by the Levy interchange and Arkansas 365, or motorists can turn around at the Crystal Hill interchange and take the Burns Park exit ramp from the eastbound lanes. To access the westbound Interstate 40 lane, the department suggests motorists travel turn around at the Levy interchange. The department encourages motorists to consider alternate routes if possible and follow all roadway signs and speed limits.
