Crittenden County police say a capital murder charge could be issued this week or next week for a woman accused of kidnapping a seven year old girl whose body was found August 19th. An autopsy showed the girl was suffocated. A woman who sometimes babysat the girl, Jo Ann Buchanan, has been charged with kidnapping the girl and is being held in the Crittenden County jail in Marion on one million dollars bond. Crittenden County sheriff`s investigator Thomas Martin said investigators are following new leads and waiting on more results from the state Crime Laboratory. Last week, a DNA test confirmed Patricia Ann Miles of Gilmore was the person found by authorities near a bean field in Mississippi County, about five miles north of her hometown. The test had been requested by family. Nearly one thousand people attended Patricia`s funeral at Beautiful Zion Baptist Church in West Memphis on Saturday.
