Boozman Gets To Speak At Republican National Convention

US Representative John Boozman is the second Arkansan to receive a confirmed speaking slot at the Republican National Convention in New York next week. Boozman will introduce his former intern, 20-year-old Princella Smith, who won a speaking role in the "Stand Up and Holla!" essay contest sponsored by MTV. Boozman says Smith is a terrific young woman. He said he will receive two minutes to introduce Smith on Wednesday. Smith is a student at Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia. President Bush is scheduled to deliver his nomination acceptance speech from the same stage the next day. The convention is at Madison Square Garden.
