Wild Week for Stock Market Ends with Rally

Stocks end a wild week of volatile trading with a two-day market rally and gains posted across the board.

At today's closing bell, the Dow was higher by 126 points to 11-269 and the Nasdaq added 15 points to 2508.

The S&P 500 rose six points to 11-79.

Meantime, consumer sentiment is now at its lowest level in over 30 years.

A new Thomson Reuters/University of Michigan preliminary index finds consumer sentiment fell to 54-point-nine this month from 63-point-seven in July.
