August Has Been One Of The Coolest Months On Record

So far, August of 2004 has been one of the
coolest on record. Overall, the summer is among the top 10 coolest
summers on record in Arkansas, but it`s sitting low at Number 8 on
the chart. The first half of this month is in the top spot for the
coolest first-half-of-August on record. The average temperature for
the first 16 days of August was only 75.6. A high-pressure system
headed toward Arkansas is expected to bring changes with higher
temperatures and more humidity.
