Arkansas Cow Has Triplets

A cow having triplets is uncommon, but not for one in northern Arkansas. Faith the cow has given birth to her third set of triplets. She`s also delivered four sets of twins. Only once has Faith had one calf. The eight year old Charolais mix cow lives at Cedar Creek Ranch and Cattle Company, a sprawling ranch between Harriet and Big Flat.
Jenny Williams, Faith`s owner, says the 1200 pound cow grew to more than 1500 pounds before the most recent triplets
birth. She said last month`s triplets are almost the size of single birth calves. Williams says Faith usually dotes on the last calf born in each set. She said Faith doesn`t want the other two for a while.
