MTV Coming To Hendrix College

Hendrix College in Conway is one of three campuses nationwide where MTV will have a vote drive and concert. The "Rock the Vote" rally is set for September 19th. MTV will also go to the University of Texas and the University of Michigan. In Conway, the event will be from 12:00 noon until 7:00 pm on the intramural field. Politicians and entertainers will be at the rally. Hendrix political science professor Jay Barth says MTV chose Hendrix because it wanted a small private college in a swing state.
