Some Little Rock Students Start School Monday

By: KARK 4 News
Updated: August 9, 2011
Today is the first day of school for a small group of students in the Little Rock School District.

That includes 6th grade students at Cloverdale Middle School, and 9th grade students at J.A. Fair High School and Hall High School.

The reason they're starting before the rest of the district is that LRSD has received a school improvement grant for these schools because they have been determined to be low performing.

The rest of the LRSD heads back to class from summer break one week from today.
