AR National Guard Familes Are Getting Bogus Calls About Loved Ones Being Killed Over Seas

By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
The Arkansas National Guard reported today that some families in Texarkana have received bogus phone calls about their loved ones. The callers told people that their family members had been killed in Iraq. The National Guard says those types of notification are always done in person by a uniformed service member. The National Guard said families who receive such false phone calls should report it to local law enforcement agencies. They should also report the calls to the State Family Program office at 501-212-4102.
