Fayetteville May Get Hilton

Updated: January 7, 2009
Fayetteville`s planning commission is to consider a proposal today for a Hilton hotel that a developer wants to build in the city. The Hilton would occupy seven acres on Van Asche Drive. The Hilton chain has not been represented in Fayetteville in recent years. Three years ago, a Hilton property on East Avenue in downtown Fayetteville was converted into a Radisson Hotel. Developers want to build a Hilton Garden Inn. The hotel would be built on the city`s north side at the CMN Business Park. The hotel would have 120 guest rooms, plus rooms for meetings.
