Baby and Monkey: Clark County`s Odd Couple

2-months old and nursing from a bottle, Baby is, well, a baby. All mothers feel their babies are one-of-a-kind, but this Baby really is. Baby is a doe whose mother was killed by a hunter`s bullet. Someone heard her crying and found her safety in the home of an animal lover.
But the unique story doens`t end here. Baby`s best friend is Monkey. As you`ve probably guessed, Monkey is not a monkey; she`s a cat and, like Baby, she has her own unique story of survival. Monkey was the only kitten in the litter to survive a rough start to life, abandoned at the side of the highway.
Now the two share snacks under a table and, more important, share an unusual friendship. For a cat named Monkey and a baby who`s already done her share of growing up, though, it may just be perfect.
