Conway County Soldier Returns For Newborn`s Funeral

A Conway County soldier who was serving in Iraq has returned home to attend the funeral of his infant son. Staff Sergeant Scottie Huffman arrived home on leave on Father`s Day just hours before the baby boy was born. But two weeks later, and just a few days after Scottie Huffman went back to Iraq, the baby died in his sleep. Scottie`s wife Amanda said family and medics tried to revive the infant, but he died before he reached the hospital. She told her husband over the phone that their son was dead.
