Federal officials are investigating the crash of a small plane that went down in Logan County, killing both people on board. The crash occurred yesterday near the Paris airport. Logan County Sheriff Mark Limbird identified the victims as 72-year-old James Henson and 54-year-old Donald Ward, both of Paris. The men were killed when Henson`s Cessna Skyhawk 172 single-engine plane crashed in a wooded area about 800 yards west of the airport. The men were headed to Ozark to attend a weekly pilots` breakfast in the airport hangar. Ozark and Paris are about 18 miles apart. Limbird said low clouds and fog in the area could have contributed to the crash. ------ Henson had owned a company that made small engines, was a former city alderman and a member of the Paris Airport Commission. Ward was the music director and youth minister at the First Baptist Church in Paris.
