Downtown businesses lost power for a few hours after problems with an underground vault. Entergy officials said the vault near the Capital had problems with it`s power flow, although they still don`t know exactly why. Workers were dispatched to the sub-station on La Harpe to correct the problem. The outage disrupted KARK 4`s 6 p.m. newscast. Several other businesses and homes were left without power.
