The University of Central Arkansas is in talks
that could lead to the opening of a hotel on campus. UCA
president Lu Hardin says putting a hotel at the Conway school would
help both the university and the city.
The school is negotiating with a Chicago-based franchisee for
Hilton Hotels. The school is looking at approving a hotel with up
to 120 beds.
The proposal calls for a full-service hotel with a restaurant
and a conference room that could hold up to 400 people.
